Ingredients for Green Tea Vanilla Pannacotta Recipe

  • Green tea leaves 2 teaspoons

  • Vanilla pod 1

  • Gelatin 1½ teaspoons

  • Milk 1 cup

  • Fresh cream 1½ cups

  • Castor sugar (caster sugar) ½ cup

  • Fresh mint sprigs for garnishing


Step 1

Take gelatin in a bowl. Add 2 tablespoons water and set aside to bloom.

Step 2

Heat milk in a small deep non-stick pan. Add cream and castor sugar.

Step 3

Scrape out vanilla seeds; add to pan along with the pod, mix and cook for 2-3 minutes.Add green tea leaves, mix and cook till mixture thickens.

Step 4

Strain the green tea mixture into another bowl and whisk. Add bloomed gelatin gradually and whisk well. Set aside and bring down to room temperature.

Step 5

Fill shot glasses with green tea mixture and refrigerate for 2-3 hours or till set.

Step 6

Serve garnished with mint sprigs.
