Ingredients list for Grilled Cottage Cheese And Cabbage Sandwich

  • 150 grams Cottage Cheese grated
  • 8 Cabbage
  • 1/2 small Cabbage grated
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 2 Green chillies finely chopped
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chaat masala
  • as required Butter
  • 4 tablespoons Green chutney

  1. To make the filling, combine cabbage, cottage cheese, coriander leaves, red chilli powder, green chillies, salt, lemon juice and chaat masala in a bowl. Divide the mixture into four equal portions.
  2. Butter all the bread slices. Place four slices on the worktop, buttered side facing upwards, and spread a tablespoon of green chutney on each.
  3. Spread some cottage cheese mixture over each of them and cover each with the remaining slices. Apply butter on the outer surface of each sandwich and grill in sandwich griller or toaster till done. Serve hot.
