Ingredients for Grilled Paneer With Chilli Plum Sauce Recipe

  • Cottage Cheese 200 grams

  • Plums seeded and cut into wedges 1 kilogram

  • Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon

  • Chilli flakes 1 teaspoon

  • Amchur powder 1 1/2 tablespoons

  • Ginger paste 1 teaspoon

  • Oil 2 tablespoons

  • Salt to taste

  • Garam masala powder 1/4 teaspoon

  • Honey 2 tablespoons

Method

Step 1

Put plums in a mixer jar, add red chilli powder, 1 tsp amchur, ginger paste and grind into a purée using Bisleri water as required.

Step 2

Cut paneer into large cubes. Heat 2 tbsps oil in a Nirlep non stick pan, add plum purée and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring in between.

Step 3

Add salt and mix. Add garam masala powder and cook till the sauce thickens.

Step 4

Push the sauce to one sides of the pan and place the paneer pieces in the centre.Pour the remaining oil over the paneer pieces and grill evenly on both the sides for 1-2 minutes or till light golden.

Step 5

Sprinkle chilli flakes and flip the paneer pieces. Lightly mix the paneer pieces in the plum sauce.

Step 6

Add honey and remaining amchur and mix well. Serve hot.
