Ingredients list for Gulab Jamun Kulfi
- 12-16 Mini gulabjamuns
- 5 1/2 cups Milk
- 3 tablespoons Milk powder
- 2 tablespoons Cornflour/ corn starch
- 400 grams Sweetened condensed milk
- 4 tablespoons Khoya/mawa grated
- 15-20 Almonds blanched and peeled
Method
- Boil 5 cups milk in a deep non stick pan and simmer till it reduces to half its original quantity. Mix milk powder and cornstarch with ½ cup milk till smooth. Add it to the milk and cook till it thickens. Add condensed milk and mix.
- Add khoya and mix and continue to cook, stirring frequently. Crush almonds and add to the pan and mix. Add the gulab jamuns and mix and cook, stirring continuously for 4-5 minutes. Pour into kulfi moulds and let them cool down to room temperature. Keep them in the freezer to set. When fully set, demould and serve immediately.
