Ingredients for Gur Ki Kheer Recipe

  • Jaggery 1 cup

  • Coconut 1 1/4 cups

  • Scraped coconut 2 tablespoons

  • Fresh malai for garnish


Step 1

Heat six cups of water in a deep non-stick pan and bring it to boil.

Step 2

Add jaggery and keep cooking till it melts. Add rice and cook till the rice gets cooked.

Step 3

Add coconut and lower the heat and cook by stirring continuously till it thickens.

Step 4

Serve hot or chilled garnished with malai.
