Ingredients list for Hunan Style Tofu

  • 120 grams Tofu cut into cubes (fresh)
  • 25 grams Red bell pepper diced
  • 25 grams Onion sliced
  • 15 grams Cashewnuts fried and broked
  • 10 grams Ginger sliced
  • 10 grams Red chilli paste
  • 5 grams Seasoning
  • to taste Salt
  • 5 grams White pepper powder
  • 15 grams Cornflour/ corn starch
  • 10 grams Dark soy sauce
  • 1 gram Chilli oil
  • 10 grams Red chilli broken
  • 10 grams Refined oil

Method

  1. Heat oil in a wok. Add ginger, red chilli paste, vegetable and sauté for a min.
  2. Add oyster sauce, red chilli paste, stock, seasoning, sugar, white pepper , dark soy and cornflour and adjust the gravy.
  3. Add tofu and fried nuts.
  4. Finish with garlic oil and serve hot.
