Ingredients for Jumbo Sundae Recipe

  • Vanilla Custard powder 2 cups

  • Milk 2 tablespoons

  • Orange segments 8-10

  • Pineapple chopped ½ cup

  • Mixed nuts chopped, ½ cup + for garnishing

  • Strawberry ice cream as required

  • Tutti frutti 2 tablespoons

  • Butterscotch ice-cream as required

  • Chocolate Icecream as required

  • Cherries 4-5


Step 1

Reserve a tablespoon of milk and heat the remaining in a deep non-stick pan.

Step 2

Take custard powder in a bowl and add the reserved milk in it and mix well. Add this mixture back in the pan and cook till it thickens, stirring continuously. Switch off heat, cool to room temperature and refrigerate.

Step 3

Roughly chop orange segments.

Step 4

In a large glass, spread a layer of some of the pineapple and top with alternate layers of some orange, some nuts, 3 scoops of strawberry ice cream, tutti fruity, remaining nuts, 3 scoops of butterscotch ice cream, remaining pineapple and remaining orange segments. Pour the prepared custard on top and top with 4 scoops of chocolate ice cream. Garnish with chopped nuts, sliced cherries and serve immediately..
