By Sanjeev Kapoor 23 Feb 2017 in Recipes Course New Update Advertisment Main Ingredients Potatoes, Oil Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Tangy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Khasta Aloo Chaat 4 medium Potatoes boiled, peeled and mashed for deep-frying Oil to taste Salt 2 tablespoons Cornflour/ corn starch as required Yogurt as required Green chutney as required Date and tamarind chutney as required Red chilli-garlic chutney to sprinkle Chaat masala as required Sev to sprinkle Red chilli powder for garnishing Fresh coriander leaves chopped Method Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Combine potatoes, salt and cornflour in a bowl and mix. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into tikkis. Deep-fry tikkis in hot oil till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper. Place tikkis in individual serving platters and break them with a fork. Drizzle some yogurt, green chutney and date-tamarind chutney on top. Put some red chilli-garlic chutney and sprinkle some chaat masala on top. Put some sev and sprinkle some chilli powder on top.
