Ingredients list for Khire Ke Pakore
- 2 large size Cucumbers sliced thinly
- 1 cup Water chestnut
- 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Coriander powder
- 2 teaspoons Black salt (kala namak)
- 2 Green chillies chopped
- to deep fry Oil
Method
- Wash and wipe dry cucumbers. Halve them vertically and further cut into thin slices.
- Mix together water chestnut flour, red chilli powder, coriander powder, black salt and chopped green chillies.
- Add sufficient water to make a thick batter. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai, dip the cucumber slices into the batter and deep fry till golden brown. Drain onto an absorbent paper and serve hot.
