What is the best thing one could rustle up in a hurry when hunger pangs are unbearable? The first thing that comes to mind is pasta! Believe it or not, it is the mainstay dish of all those who want a filling meal in a jiffy. What fascinates most food lovers is that it is available in a multitude of shapes, colours and now even flavours. The variety of shapes, sizes and designs include tubes, ribbons, spirals, shells, bows and wheels. Pleasures of pasta!

Ingredients for Kindergarten Pasta Recipe

  • Mixed Pasta 2 tablespoons

  • Tomato Ketchup 2 tablespoons

  • Pasta coloured any shape 2 tablespoons

  • Pasta alphabets 2 tablespoons

  • Oil 2 tablespoons

  • Salt to taste

  • Carrot 4

  • Tomato ketchup 1/2 cup

  • White pepper powder 1/4 teaspoon

  • Cheese optional grated 1/2 cup

Method

Step 1

Boil water in a pan with salt and oil. Add all the pastas except the alphabet pasta for they are small. Once the water starts boiling again add the alphabet pastas.

Step 2

Cook till al dente. Drain and keep aside. In another pan heat oil. Add carrot puree and sauté. Add tomato ketchup, salt and white pepper powder and mix.

Step 3

Add the pasta and mix. Serve hot in a fancy plate. If desired, sprinkle grated cheese on top just before serving.
