Be a kid or a teenage or an adult or an oldie, chicken lovers trend all over the world at all times! One meat that is a favourite of all beyond belief! When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Ingredients for Lemon And Garlic Chicken Recipe

  • Chicken 700 grams

  • Lemon Rind grated 1/2 tablespoon

  • Lemons 2

  • Olive oil 1 tablespoon

  • Garlic paste 1 1/2 tablespoons

  • Salt to taste

  • Dried red chillies crushed 1/2 teaspoon


  • Iceberg lettuce leaves 6-8

  • Lemon sliced 1

  • Cherry tomatoes 8-10

  • Fresh coriander leaves chopped 1 tablespoon


Step 1

Quarter the chicken and remove the skin. Using a sharp knife, make small slashes diagonally across the flesh. Mix together oil, garlic paste, lemon rind, lemon juice and salt in a small bowl.

Step 2

Brush the mixture all over the chicken pieces and sprinkle dried red chillies on them. Heat the Grill Pan. Grill the chicken pieces in it for ten to fifteen minutes or till completely cooked, turning the pieces halfway through.

Step 3

Serve immediately on a bed of lettuce leaves, garnished with lemon slices, cherry tomatoes and coriander leaves.
