Cut the peels into strips. Put the segments and peels into a deep non-stick pan, add 3 cups water and refrigerate for 2-3 hours. Place the pan on heat and bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and cook till the segments and peels are tender. Add sugar and lemon juice and mix well. Continue to stir till the sugar melts and the mixture thickens.
