Ingredients list for Luchi - SK Khazana

  • 1 cup Refined flour (maida)
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/4 to cook Baking powder
  • to deep fry Oil

Method

  1. Mix together flour, salt and baking powder in a bowl, add sufficient water and knead into a semi-stiff dough.
  2. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
  3. Divide dough into equal portions and roll out into small puris or luchis.
  4. Gently slide in the luchis into hot oil and deep-fry till puffed up and light golden. Drain on absorbent paper.
  5. Arrange them on a serving platter and serve hot with cholar dal.
