Ingredients list for Makai Aur Sabz Ka Shorba

  • 1 cup Sweet Corn
  • 4-5 French beans chopped
  • 1/2 small Carrot
  • 4-5 florets Broccoli
  • 1/4 Red capsicum
  • 1/4 Yellow capsicum
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 3 teaspoons Cornmeal
  • 3 cups Vegetable stock
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Crushed black peppercorns

Method

  1. Finely chop the carrot, broccoli, red and yellow capsicum. Heat oil in a deep non stick pan.
  2. Add carrot, red and yellow capsicums and sauté. Add the cornmeal and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add the vegetable stock, salt and crushed black peppercorns and mix well.
  4. When the vegetables are nearly done, add the French beans and broccoli and cook for a few minutes.
  5. When the shorba thickens a little, take it off the heat and serve hot.
