Ingredients list for Malvani Paneer Fry
- 300 grams Paneer cut into 1½ inch cubes
- to taste Rice Flour
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Lemon juice
- 3/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 3 tablespoons Red chilli powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Ginger paste
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Garlic paste
- for shallow frying Oil
- 4 tablespoons Rice flour
- 4 tablespoons Semolina (rawa/suji)
Method
- Marinate paneer with salt and lemon juice in a bowl for fifteen minutes in a refrigerator. Mix together turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt, ginger paste, garlic paste and mix into the paneer.
- Cover the bowl, and return to the refrigerator for fifteen to twenty minutes. Heat oil in a shallow pan. Mix rice flour and semolina and spread on a plate.
- Coat the marinated paneer with this mixture and shallow-fry till golden crisp. Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot.
