Ingredients list for Mango Granita

  • 8 tablespoons Ripe mango puree
  • to taste Black peppercorns crushed
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • to garnish Lemon rind strips shaped into curls
  • to garnish Fresh mint sprigs

Method

  1. Put mango puree in a jar, add crushed peppercorns, lemon juice and 2 cups water and blend with an electric blender till smooth.
  2. Pour the mixture into ice trays and freeze for 2-3 hours.
  3. Demould the mango ice cubes, put in the grinder jar and grind well.
  4. Divide the mixture equally in the serving stemmed glasses, garnish lemon rind curls and mint sprigs and serve immediately.
