Ingredients for Mango Sherbet Recipe

  • Ripe mango chopped, frozen 1½ cups

  • Milk 2 cups

  • Castor sugar (caster sugar) 135 grams

  • Fresh cream 120 millilitres

  • Lemon juice 1 teaspoon

Method

Step 1

Blend together milk, castor sugar, cream and mango to a smooth mixture.

Step 2

Heat the mango mixture in a non-stick pan and bring to boil. Add lemon juice and mix. Switch off heat and cool down to room temperature.

Step 3

Transfer the mango mixture into an air-tight container, cover and freeze for 5-6 hours.

Step 4

Scoop and serve.
