Ingredients list for Mango Sherbet
- 1½ cups Ripe mango chopped, frozen
- 2 cups Milk
- 135 grams Castor sugar (caster sugar)
- 120 millilitres Fresh cream
- 1 teaspoon Lemon juice
Method
- Blend together milk, castor sugar, cream and mango to a smooth mixture.
- Heat the mango mixture in a non-stick pan and bring to boil. Add lemon juice and mix. Switch off heat and cool down to room temperature.
- Transfer the mango mixture into an air-tight container, cover and freeze for 5-6 hours.
- Scoop and serve.
