Ingredients list for Marinated Paneer Toast

  • 150 grams Cottage Cheese
  • 8 Bread Slices
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Crushed black peppercorns
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli flakes
  • 1 teaspoon Crushed garlic
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • 2-3 Fresh curly parsley sprigs
  • 2-3 tablespoons Extra-virgin olive oil

Method

  1. Roughly crumble cottage cheese into a bowl. Add salt, crushed peppercorns, red chilli flakes and crushed garlic and mix well.
  2. Roughly tear bay leaf and add and mix well. Finely chop parsley and add. Add olive oil and mix again. Keep it in the refrigerator to marinate for a day.
  3. Toast bread slices in a toaster.
  4. Spread the cottage cheese mixture on the toasted bread slices.
  5. Halve them, arrange them on a serving plate and serve immediately.
