Ingredients for Moong Pakode Recipe

  • Moong Sprouts 1 cup

  • Refined Flour 2 tablespoons

  • Green chillies roughly chopped 2

  • Salt to taste

  • Onion chopped 1 medium

  • Fresh coriander leaves chopped 2 tablespoons

  • Ginger roughly chopped 1/2 one-inch pieces

  • Oil to deep fry

Method

Step 1

Grind moong sprouts, ginger, green chillies and salt with a little water to a coarse paste. Add onion, coriander leaves and rice flour to this batter and mix well.

Step 2

Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Drop spoonful of batter into the hot oil and deep fry, on medium heat, till golden brown and crisp.

Step 3

Drain on an absorbent paper and serve hot.
