By Sanjeev Kapoor 17 Aug 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Potatoes, Mozzarella cheese Cuisine French Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Mozzarella Stuffed Croquettes 200 grams Potatoes cut into 12 long sticks 2-3 medium Mozzarella cheese boiled, peeled and mashed 3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese powder to taste Salt 1/2 teaspoon Black peppercorns crushed 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg powder 1 Egg 1 cup Breadcrumbs for deep-frying Oil Method Mix potatoes, Parmesan cheese, salt, crushed peppercorns and nutmeg powder in a bowl. Break the egg into a small bowl and whisk. Spread the breadcrumbs on a plate. Divide the potato mixture into twelve equal portions and stuff each portion with a mozzarella cheese stick and shape them into a croquette. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Dip the croquettes in the egg, roll in the breadcrumbs and slide into hot oil. Deep-fry till golden. Drain on absorbent paper. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
