Oats Uttappam Healthy all the way - oats, sprouts and dosa batter This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 06 Mar 2017 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Rolled (porridge) oats , Dosa Batter Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Oats Uttappam 1 cup Rolled (porridge) oats roasted 1 cup Dosa Batter 1/2 cup Mixed sprouts 1 medium Onion finely chopped 2 Green chillies finely chopped to taste Salt 2 tablespoons Mint chutney to cook Olive oil as required Sesame seeds (black) 2 medium Tomatoes finely chopped 8-10 Iceberg lettuce leaves 1/2 tablespoon Lemon juice Method Place sprouts in a bowl. Add onion, green chillies, salt and mix well. Place oats in another bowl, add salt, dosa batter and mix well. Add mint chutney and mix well. Add a little water to adjust consistency. Heat a non sticktawa and grease it lightly with a little olive oil. Pour a ladle full of batter and spread it thickly. Sprinkle a little black sesame seeds, a little of the onion mixture and tomatoes and let the uttappa cook. Shred iceberg lettuce leaves and keep in a bowl. Add 1 tsp olive oil, lemon juice and salt and mix well. Drizzle a little olive oil around the uttappam. Flip it over when the underside is a light golden and drizzle some more oil all around and cook till the other side is slightly crisp. Place the uttappamon a serving plate, place some lettuce leaves on top, sprinklea little black sesame seeds and serve hot.
