Ingredients list for Palak aur Dal ke Pakode

  • 8-10 Spinach leaves (palak) cleaned
  • 1 cup Split green gram skinless (dhuli moong dal) soaked
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 1 Green chilli finely chopped
  • to taste Salt
  • for deep-frying Oil

Method

  1. Place green gram, roughly chopped ginger, green chilli and salt in a grinder jar and grind into a fine paste. Transfer the paste into a bowl.
  2. Finely shred spinach leaves and add to the bowl and mix well.
  3. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Drop small portions of the mixture in the hot oil till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
  4. Serve hot.
