Ingredients for Paneer Pakora Recipe

  • Cottage Cheese 250 grams

  • Gram Flour 1 teaspoon

  • Dry mango powder (amchur) 1 1/4 teaspoons

  • Oil to deep fry

  • Gram flour (besan) 1 cup

  • Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon

  • Soda bicarbonate a pinch

  • Water as required

  • Salt to taste


Step 1

Cut the cottage cheese into square, thick cubes. Sprinkle red chilli powder and mango powder on each piece.

Step 2

Mix the gram flour with red chilli powder, salt, soda and sufficient water to make a slightly thick batter.

Step 3

Dip each piece of cottage cheese into the batter and deep fry in hot oil till it turns golden brown. Serve hot with green chutney.
