Paneer Bhurji Sandwich The beloved paneer bhurji sandwiched and grilled to perfection. This is a Sanjeev Kapoor exclusive recipe. By Sanjeev Kapoor 19 Mar 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Cottage cheese (paneer), White bread slices Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Paneer Bhurji Sandwich 250 grams Cottage cheese (paneer) grated 8 White bread slices 2 tablespoons Oil 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds 2-3 Green chillies finely chopped 1 Large onion finely chopped 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder 4 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped to taste Salt as required Butter to serve Green chutney Method Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add cumin seeds and saute till their colour changes. Add green chillies and onion, mix and sauté for 1 minute. Add turmeric powder, mix and saute for 1 minute. Add cottage cheese, coriander leaves and salt, mix well and cook for 3-4 minutes. Take the pan off the heat and let the mixture cool. Place 4 bread slices on the worktop and apply butter and green chutney on one side of these slices. Spread cottage cheese mixture generously and cover each with the remaining bread slices. Apply butter on the top of each sandwich. Keep the sandwiches, 2 at a time, in a heated griller, close and grill marks appear on both sides and become crisp.
