Paneer In Minutes

Ingredients list for Paneer In Minutes

  • 300 grams Cottage Cheese cut into 1 inch thick slices
  • 2 medium Capsicum cubed
  • 2 medium Onions diced

Method

  1. To make the marinade, combine together hung yogurt, salt, red chilli powder, oil and food colour in a bowl. Dip the paneer rectangles in the marinade and coat well. Heat the Grill Pan.
  2. Place paneer pieces on it for fifteen minutes or evenly done on both the sides. Remove and set aside. Grind together green cardamoms, cinnamon, cloves and carom seeds to get the dry masala.
  3. Heat one tablespoon oil in a non-stick pan. Keep one teaspoon dry masala aside and add the grilled paneer pieces. Cook on low heat for one minute. In the meantime, heat remaining oil in a non-stick pan.
  4. Add one teaspoon dry masala, capsicums and onions. Mix well and cook for two to three minutes. Add tomatoes and salt and mix well. Place the paneer on a serving dish and the masala vegetables all around it. Serve hot.
