Ingredients
- 8 toasted pavs
- 2 tbsps butter
- 1 tbsp oil
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
- 1 ½ tsps red chilli powder
- 1 tbsp kashmiri red chilli paste
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp pav bhaji masala powder
- 2 medium potatoes, boiled, peeled and diced
- 10-12 cauliflower florets, blanched
- 1 medium capsicum, seeded and chopped
- ½ cup blanched green peas
- 100 grams cottage cheese (paneer), diced
- 2 tbsps chopped fresh coriander + for garnish
- Lemon wedges for garnish
Method
- Heat butter and oil on a nonstick tawa. Add the onions and sauté till golden brown.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a few seconds. Add tomatoes and sauté for 4-5 minutes.
- Add red chilli powder, chilli paste and ¼ cup water and mix well.
- Add salt and mix. Add ¼ cup water and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add pav bhaji masala and mix. Add ½ cup water and mix well.
- Add potatoes, cauliflower, capsicum, green peas and mix well. Cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Add cottage cheese, adjust seasoning and mix. Add ½ cup water and mix. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add coriander leaves and mix. Transfer in a serving plate and sprinkle chopped coriander.
- Serve hot with toasted pavs and lemon wedges.
