Ingredients for Parsley Garlic And Mushrooms On Toast Recipe

  • Fresh Parsley 2 tablespoons

  • Garlic Cloves sliced 4 cloves

  • Button mushrooms sliced 10-12

  • French bread 1 loaf

  • Olive oil 2 tablespoons

  • Onion sliced 1 medium

  • Whole wheat flour (atta) 2 tablespoons

  • Milk 1 1/2 cups

  • Salt to taste

  • Black peppercorns crushed 5-6


Step 1

Preheat oven to 180°C. Slice bread diagonally. Toast the bread slices in the preheated oven. Heat olive oil in a pan. Add onion and sauté lightly. Add garlic and continue to sauté.

Step 2

Add whole wheat flour and continue to sauté till the raw smells disappear. Add the milk gradually and stir continuously to avoid lumps.

Step 3

Add mushrooms, salt, crushed black peppercorns, parsley and mix. Cook till the mixture thickens.

Step 4

Arrange the toasts on a serving plate, spread the mixture over the toasts and serve immediately.
