By Sanjeev Kapoor 19 Mar 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Advertisment Main Ingredients Raw sorghum (paunk), Fresh mint leaves Cuisine Gujarati Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Paunk ke Vade 1 cup Raw sorghum (paunk) 1/2 cup Fresh mint leaves to taste Salt 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon Chaat masala 1 pinch Baking soda 3 tablespoons Gram flour 1 Medium onion chopped 2 Green chillies chopped 1/2 inch Ginger chopped to deep fry Oil to serve Tomato ketchup Method Put raw sorghum in a food processor, add mint leaves, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, chaat masala, baking soda, gram flour, onion, green chillies and ginger and process the mixture to a coarse paste. Transfer it into a bowl. Heat oil in a kadai, drop small portions of the sorghum mix into hot oil and deep-fry, on medium heat, till crisp and golden. Drain on absorbent paper.
