Ingredients list for Peanut Burfi
- 2 cups Peanuts
- 2 cups Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
Method
- Roast peanuts lightly. Cool and remove skin. Grind to a coarse powder. Grease a thali. Cook sugar with three fourth cup of water to get a syrup of two-thread consistency.
- Add ground peanuts and cook till the mixture thickens, stirring continuously at frequent intervals. Add green cardamom powder and mix well.
- Spread onto the greased thali and smoothen the surface. When slightly cooled, cut into squares and store.
