Ingredients for Peanut Burfi Recipe

  • Peanuts 2 cups

  • Sugar 2 cups

  • Green cardamom powder 1 teaspoon

Method

Step 1

Roast peanuts lightly. Cool and remove skin. Grind to a coarse powder. Grease a thali. Cook sugar with three fourth cup of water to get a syrup of two-thread consistency.

Step 2

Add ground peanuts and cook till the mixture thickens, stirring continuously at frequent intervals. Add green cardamom powder and mix well.

Step 3

Spread onto the greased thali and smoothen the surface. When slightly cooled, cut into squares and store.
