How to make Peanut Butter Pie -

This pie has cookies-butter mixture as the base, topped with peanut butter mixture and further topped with chocolate ganache.

Ingredients for Peanut Butter Pie Recipe

  • Peanut butter 1½ cups + tablespoons

  • Dark chocolate biscuits 10-15

  • Butter ¼ cup + 8 tablespoons

  • Powdered sugar 1 cup

  • Fresh cream ½ cup

  • Dark chocolate chopped 1 cup

  • Mango chocolate chips to sprinkle

  • Orange chocolate chips to sprinkle


Step 1

Take dark chocolate cookies in a plastic zip-lock bag, seal and gently beat them with a rolling pin to make a fine powder. Transfer into a bowl.

Step 2

Take ¼ cup butter in a microwave proof bowl and heat in the microwave for 30 seconds or till it melts. Add it to dark chocolate cookie powder and mix well.

Step 3

Line an aluminium tart mould with cookie-butter mixture. Refrigerate till set.

Step 4

Take 8 tablespoons butter, peanut-butter and powdered sugar in another bowl and whisk with an electric beater till creamy.

Step 5

Put the peanut butter mixture over the cookie base and level it out. Refrigerate till set. This is pie.

Step 6

To prepare ganache, heat cream in a non-stick pan and bring to boil. Add dark chocolate, mix and cook till it melts. Remove from heat and cool.

Step 7

Spread ganache on top of peanut butter layer and tap. Sprinkle mango chocolate chips and orange chocolate chips on top. Refrigerate till set.

Step 8

Demould, cut into wedges and serve.
