Ingredients list for Pedas
- 500 grams Mawa grated
 - 300 grams Powdered Sugar
 - 2-3 drops Food colour optional
 - ½ teaspoon Green cardamom powder
 - Cookie moulds
 - 8-10 Pistachios sliced
 
Method
- Mix khoya with the sugar in a kadai or wok. Heat on low heat, stirring continuously. Cook till mixture thickens. It should form a very soft lump.
 - Cool for ten minutes. Add cardamom powder and food colour. Mix well.
 - Take a small fistful of mixture and press into the cookie mould. Turn out carefully. Press two to three slices of pistachio in the center. Repeat for remaining mixture.
 - Serve.
