Ingredients for Peppermint Chocolate Recipe

  • Peppermint Candies 20

  • Dark Chocolate chopped 1 cup

  • Milk 4 cups

  • Sugar 6 tablespoons

  • Fresh cream for drizzling

  • Chocolate shavings for garnishing


Step 1

Melt chocolate in the microwave for thirty seconds. Remove from oven and whisk till smooth.

Step 2

Heat milk in a deep non-stick pan, add sugar, stir and heat till the sugar melts.

Step 3

Add melted chocolate and mix well. Simmer further three to four minutes.

Step 4

Coarsely crush peppermint candies, reserving some for garnishing, and add to the chocolate milk. Mix well and bring to a boil. Switch off the heat, cool down the milk to room temperature and refrigerate for one hour.

Step 5

Pour the drink into four individual tall glasses, drizzle little fresh cream and garnish with the chocolate shavings and reserved crushed candies.

Step 6

Serve chilled.
