And did you always think that eating a potato will make you fat?

Ingredients for Phuljari Kebab Recipe

  • Potatoes boiled and mashed 3 medium

  • Corn kernels boiled 1 1/2 cups

  • Spinach shredded 10-12 leaves

  • Salt to taste

  • Chaat masala 3 teaspoons

  • Cornflour/ corn starch 3 1/2 tablespoons

  • Bread Sticks 4-5

  • Rice flakes 1 cup

  • Oil to deep fry


Step 1

Mix together potatoes, corn and spinach in a bowl.

Step 2

Add salt, chaat masala and cornflour and mix well.

Step 3

Take a bread stick and roll the mixture around it.

Step 4

Coat it with rice flakes to make phuljaris.

Step 5

Heat sufficient oil in a kadai and deep-fry the phuljharis till crisp and golden. Drain on absorbent paper. Serve hot.
