By Sanjeev Kapoor 05 Apr 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Advertisment Main Ingredients Chicken legs, Piri piri spice mix Cuisine South African Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 41-50 minutes Cook time 31-40 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Piri Piri Roast Chicken 2 Chicken legs 2 tablespoons Piri piri spice mix to taste Salt 1 tablespoon Fresh parsley chopped 2 tablespoons Olive oil 1/2 Lemon to serve Mashed potatoes to serve Sautéed vegetables Method Take chicken legs in a bowl, add piri piri spice mix, salt, parsley, olive oil, squeeze the juice of ½ lemon and rub in all over the chicken legs. Set aside to marinate for 30 minutes. Preheat the oven at 150˚C. Keep a rack in a baking tray. Place the chicken legs on the rack in the baking tray, keep it in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes. Take the chicken legs out of the oven and halve them. Keep some mashed potatoes on a serving plate and arrange sautéed vegetables on side.
