Ingredients list for Pita Chips With Tomato Chilli Hummus

  • 4 Pita Breads
  • Sundried Tomatoes
  • 8-10 Sundried tomatoes
  • 1-2 Fresh red chillies
  • 1 cup Chickpeas (kabuli chana) boiled
  • 9 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1/4 cup Sesame paste
  • 1 large Garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice

  1. Peal chickpeas. Heat a non stick pan. Brush the pita breads with 2 tbsps olive oil and cut them into small triangles.
  2. Put them into the pan and grill on medium heat, turning sides, till golden and crisp on both sides.
  3. Crush garlic and put into a mixer jar. Add chickpeas, sesame paste, salt, sundried tomatoes, fresh red chillies, 4 tbsps olive oil and blend. Arrange pita triangles on a serving plate.
  4. Transfer the ground paste or hummus into a bowl, squeeze and add juice of ½ lemon and mix.
  5. Add 2 tbsps olive oil and mix.Place the hummus alongside the pita triangles, drizzle 1 tbsp olive oil and serve.
