Ingredients list for Pita Chips With Tomato Chilli Hummus
- 4 Pita Breads
- Sundried Tomatoes
- 8-10 Sundried tomatoes
- 1-2 Fresh red chillies
- 1 cup Chickpeas (kabuli chana) boiled
- 9 tablespoons Olive oil
- 1/4 cup Sesame paste
- 1 large Garlic cloves
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
Method
- Peal chickpeas. Heat a non stick pan. Brush the pita breads with 2 tbsps olive oil and cut them into small triangles.
- Put them into the pan and grill on medium heat, turning sides, till golden and crisp on both sides.
- Crush garlic and put into a mixer jar. Add chickpeas, sesame paste, salt, sundried tomatoes, fresh red chillies, 4 tbsps olive oil and blend. Arrange pita triangles on a serving plate.
- Transfer the ground paste or hummus into a bowl, squeeze and add juice of ½ lemon and mix.
- Add 2 tbsps olive oil and mix.Place the hummus alongside the pita triangles, drizzle 1 tbsp olive oil and serve.
