Ingredients list for Poha Roll
- 1 cup Pressed rice (poha)
- 2 medium Potato boiled peeled and mashed
- 2 Green chillies chopped
- 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped
- 11/2 tablespoons Roasted peanuts coarsely ground
- 1/4 teaspoon Dry mango powder (amchur)
- 1/4 teaspoon Garam masala powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- to taste Salt
- 1 Egg beaten
- 2 tablespoons Bread crumbs
- to deep fry Oil
Method
- Wash the poha in a strainer. Take mashed potatoes in a bowl.
- Add poha, green chillies, coriander leaves, peanuts amchur powder, garam masala powder, red chilli powder and salt and mix well.
- Roll it into desired shapes and then roll them in egg and coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat sufficient oil in a non-stick kadai and deep fry them till golden brown in color. Drain on absorbent paper.
- Serve hot with tamarind chutney.
