Ingredients list for Pollo a La Brasa
- Chicken cut into 4 pieces, 1 whole
- 1/3 cup Soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
- 5 Garlic cloves
- 2 teaspoons Cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon Dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon Crushed black peppercorns
- Oil 1 tablespoon + for shallow frying
Method
- Preheat the oven at 180°C.
- Blend together soy sauce, lemon juice, garlic, cumin powder, paprika, oregano, crushed peppercorns and one tablespoon oil to a smooth paste.
- Marinate the chicken pieces with the prepared paste and set aside for twelve to twenty four hours.
- Heat some oil in a non-stick pan, add marinated chicken pieces and cook till the sides are browned.
- Remove and place the chicken pieces on a baking tray, put the tray in the preheated oven and bake for ten to twelve minutes or till fully cooked.
- Serve hot.
