Ingredients list for Popcorn Crunch Sundae

  • 3 cups Popcorn
  • 8 scoops Ice Cream
  • 1/2 cup Roasted peanuts
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 3 tablespoons Light corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup Butter
  • as required Chocolate sauce

Method

  1. Heat a non stick pan and put the sugar in it. Add corn syrup (or honey), 2 tbsps water and mix and cook.
  2. Mix pop corn and peanuts in a large bowl. When sugar mixture begins to caramelize, add butter and mix till the butter melts completely. Cook for 1-2 minutes and switch off the heat.
  3. Pour the sauce over the popcorn mixture and mix well. Spread it on a silicon sheet and cool.
  4. Place the ice cream in a bowl and spread the popcorn crunch over it so as to cover it completely.
  5. Drizzle some chocolate sauce and serve immediately.
