Potato Chips

Crispy homemade potato chips made by deep-frying thin slices of unpeeled potatoes. Lightly salted and served fresh for an irresistible snack. This is a Sanjeev Kapoor exclusive recipe.

Ingredients 

  • 3 medium chip potatoes
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil to deep fry

Method

  1. Thinly slice the potatoes, without peeling, directly into ice-cold water.
  2. Dab the sliced potatoes with absorbent paper to remove the moisture.
  3. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Slide in the potato slices and deep-fry till light golden and crisp.
  4. Drain on absorbent paper. Sprinkle salt and mix well.
  5. Transfer into a serving bowl and serve immediately.
