Ingredients for Prune Rocks Recipe

  • Prunes 100 grams

  • Refined flour (maida) 200 grams

  • Baking powder 2 teaspoon

  • Lemon rind thin strips 1/2 teaspoon

  • Brown sugar 75 grams

  • Oil 3 tablespo + 1 teaspoon

  • Milk 5 tablespoons

  • Rolled (porridge) oats 2 tablespoons

Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 200ºC. Chop prunes. Sift refined flour and baking powder into a bowl. Add lemon rind, brown sugar and mix well. Add oil and mix well. Add prunes, milk and oats and mix well to make a soft dough. Line a baking tray with a silicon sheet. Take small portions of prune mixture and place on the silicon sheet, keeping a little distance between each.

Step 2

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes. Cool and store in an airtight tin.
