Ingredients list for Quick Bun Pizza-Cook Smart
- 2 Brown burger buns
- 1 Medium tomato
- 1/4 cup Tomato ketchup
- 2 teaspoons Mixed dried herbs
- 1 teaspoon Green chilli sauce
- 2 Button mushrooms
- 2 teaspoon for drizzling Extra virgin olive oil
- 50 grams Mozzarella cheese
- 2-3 Fresh basil leaves
- to taste Black peppercorns crushed
Method
- Halve the burger buns horizontally and toast them on a non-stick pan, turning sides, till they are evenly done on both sides.
- Finely chop tomato and put in a bowl. Add tomato ketchup, mixed herbs and green chilli sauce and mix well.
- Slice mushrooms.
- Add 2 teaspoons olive oil to the tomato mixture and mix well.
- Spread the tomato mixture on each half of the toasted buns. Slice mozzarella cheese thinly and place a few over the tomato mixture. Place a few mushroom slices over the cheese.
- Roughly chop basil leaves and put on top of each bun half. Sprinkle crushed peppercorns on top.
- Heat a non-stick pan. Place the bun pizzas in it, cover and cook till cheese melts and mushrooms are cooked.
- Drizzle little olive oil on top of each bun pizza and serve hot.
