Ingredients list for Rawa Vegetable Pancakes

  • 1 cup Semolina (rawa)
  • 3 tablespoons Yogurt
  • 1/4 cup Carrots grated
  • 1/4 cup Frozen green peas
  • 1 Small onion chopped
  • 1 Small red capsicum chopped
  • 2 Green chilllies chopped
  • 1 pinch Sugar
  • to taste Black peppercorns crushed
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • to taste Salt
  • as required Oil
  • to serve Green chutney

Method

  1. Take semolina in a bowl, add yogurt and sufficient water and whisk well. Add carrots, green peas, onion, red capsicum, green chillies, sugar, crushed black peppercorns, red chilli powder and salt and mix well. Set aside 10-15 minutes.
  2. Heat a non-stick tawa, pour a ladle of the batter and spread it lightly to make a pancake.
  3. Drizzle a little oil all around cook for 3-4 minutes on each side. Make more pancakes with the remaining batter.
  4. Place the pancakes on serving plates and serve hot with green chutney.
