Ingredients list for Samosa Sandwich

  • 4 Samosas
  • 8 White bread slices
  • 8 teaspoon to toast Butter
  • 8 teaspoons Green chutney
  • 2 Medium onions sliced into roundels
  • 2 Medium tomatoes sliced into roundels
  • to taste Salt
  • 4 Cheese slices
  • to drizzle Tamarind chutney
  • to sprinkle Nylon sev
  • for garnish Fresh coriander leaves chopped

Method

  1. To make each sandwich, apply butter on 2 bread slices followed by green chutney. Press one samosa lightly and place on 1bread slices.
  2. Top with a few onion roundels and a few tomato roundels. Sprinkle salt and place a slice of cheese on top. Cover with the 2nd slice chutney side facing downwards..
  3. Heat a non-stick tawa. Add some butter, place thesandwich and apply some more butter on top. When the underside turns golden, flip and cook till the other side too turns golden. Make the remaining sandwiches similarly.
  4. Cut each sandwich into 4 equal squares and place them on separate serving plates. Drizzle tamarind chutney and green chutney. Sprinkle sev and coriander leaves and serve immediately.
