Ingredients list for Sev Tomato Sandwich

  • 3/4 cup Aloo bhujiya (sev)
  • 1 Large tomato chopped
  • 8 White bread slices
  • 1 Medium onion chopped
  • 3 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped
  • 2 Green chillies chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Tomato ketchup
  • to taste Salt
  • as required Butter
  • 4 Cheese slices
  • to serve Potato wedges

Method

  1. Take aloo bhujia in a bowl, add tomato, onion, coriander leaves, green chillies, tomato ketchup and salt and mix well.
  2. Apply butter on one side of all the bread slices, place a generous portion of the stuffing on 4 slices, place a cheese slice on top of the stuffing and cover each sandwich with another slice of bread with butter side down. Apply butter on top of all the sandwiches.
  3. Melt butter on a non-stick tawa. Place each sandwich on it and toast, turning sides, till evenly golden brown on both sides.
  4. Cut into triangles, arrange on a serving platter and serve hot with potato wedges.
