Ingredients for Sev Tomato Sandwich Recipe

  • Aloo bhujiya (sev) 3/4 cup

  • Large tomato chopped 1

  • White bread slices 8

  • Medium onion chopped 1

  • Fresh coriander leaves chopped 3 tablespoons

  • Green chillies chopped 2

  • Tomato ketchup 2 tablespoons

  • Salt to taste

  • Butter as required

  • Cheese slices 4

  • Potato wedges to serve


Step 1

Take aloo bhujia in a bowl, add tomato, onion, coriander leaves, green chillies, tomato ketchup and salt and mix well.

Step 2

Apply butter on one side of all the bread slices, place a generous portion of the stuffing on 4 slices, place a cheese slice on top of the stuffing and cover each sandwich with another slice of bread with butter side down. Apply butter on top of all the sandwiches.

Step 3

Melt butter on a non-stick tawa. Place each sandwich on it and toast, turning sides, till evenly golden brown on both sides.

Step 4

Cut into triangles, arrange on a serving platter and serve hot with potato wedges.
