Ingredients list for Sizzling Walnut Brownie

  • 100 grams Dark chocolate
  • ¾ cup Walnuts chopped
  • for greasing Butter 1 cup +
  • + for dusting Refined flour (maida) 1 cup
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1¾ cups Castor sugar (caster sugar)
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence
  • ½ cup Cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coffee powder
  • as required Vanilla ice cream

Method

  1. Preheat oven to160°C. Grease a cake tin with butter and dust with refined flour.
  2. Melt chocolate with butter in a bowl in a microwave for a minute. Remove from oven and whisk till smooth. Cool it down to room temperature.
  3. Cream eggs, castor sugar and vanilla essence in a large mixing bowl till light and fluffy.
  4. Sieve refined flour, cocoa powder and coffee powder into the egg mixture and fold in well.
  5. Add chocolate mixture and walnuts and fold in till well blended.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared tin, place it in the preheated oven and bake for 35-40 minutes.
  7. Heat a sizzler plate, place the brownie on it, put vanilla ice cream over it and serve immediately.
