Ingredients
- 1 medium broccoli, separated into florets
- 1 tablespoon pumpkin seeds with skin
- 1 tablespoon sunflower seeds (charoli/chironji)
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (til)
- A few pak choy leaves
- 2 teaspoon oyster sauce
- 2 teaspoons red chilli sauce
- 1 teaspoon finely chopped ginger
Method
- Place pak choy leaves in a bamboo steamer. Heat 3-4 cups water in a deep non stick pan.
- Dry roast pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds and sesame seeds till fragrant and transfer into a bowl.
- Place broccoli florets in a steamer, close the lid and place in boiling water. Cook till broccoli is soft.
- Heat oyster sauce in a non stick pan. Add chilli sauce and 3 tsps water and mix. Add ginger, mix well and cook for 2 minutes and remove from heat.
- Transfer broccoli florets onto a serving dish. Drizzle the prepared sauce on top and sprinkle the three seed mixture.
- Serve immediately.
