Ingredients list for Steamed Chicken With Chilli Sauce And Vegetables

  • 800 grams Chicken With Bone And Skin with bone and skin
  • 4 tablespoons Green Chilli Sauce
  • 1/2 small Cabbage Cut into big pieces
  • 1 medium Carrot Cut into big pieces
  • 1 medium Potato Cut into big pieces
  • 6-8 French beans Cut into big pieces
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • Juice of 1 lemon

Method

  1. To make the marinade mix together chilli sauce, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder and lemon juice.
  2. Prick the chicken with a tooth pick, coat with the marinade and keep aside for 20-25 minutes.
  3. Pour 2 cups water in a pressure cooker. Place cabbage at the bottom of the cooker.
  4. Top it with carrot, potato and French beans. Place chicken on top and spread the remaining marinade on the top.
  5. Cook under pressure, on high heat till 4 whistles are given out. Lower heat and cook for 10 minutes.
  6. Place the cabbage leaves on a serving plate, top it with the chicken and the remaining vegetables and serve hot.
