Indian food is also influenced by religious and cultural choices and traditions. 
Foreign invasions, trade relations and colonialism had introduced certain foods to the country like potato, chillies and breadfruit.

Ingredients for Strawberry And Pista Kulfi Recipe

  • Milk 2 litres

  • Strawberry crush 1/2 cup

  • Strawberry crush 1/2 cup

  • Pistachios 18-20

  • Green cardamom powder 1 teaspoon

Method

Step 1

Blanch the pistachios, drain and grind coarsely. Heat milk in a saucepan and bring it to boil.

Step 2

Let it boil stirring continuously till reduced to three-fourths the original quantity. Add half a cup of condensed milk and keep stirring. Add the coarsely ground pista, cardamom powder and cook till it thickens.

Step 3

Remove from heat and let it cool completely. In a large bowl take strawberry crush and whisk well. Add the reduced milk. Mix well.

Step 4

Pour into prepared moulds, seal them airtight and freeze them in the refrigerator.

Step 5

When set, demould and serve.
