Strawberry Pancake

Ingredients list for Strawberry Pancake

  • 30-35 Strawberries half of them crushed
  • 1 cup Wholewheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/2 cup Yogurt
  • a few drops Vanilla essence
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 tablespoons Sugar

Method

  1. Combine whole wheat flour and baking powder in a bowl. Add yogurt and mix well. Add vanilla essence and crushed strawberries and mix well.
  2. Break egg into it and whisk well. Add honey and whisk again.
  3. Chop the remaining strawberries and put into a bowl. Add castor sugar and mix and chill in the refrigerator.
  4. Heat butter in a non-stick pan. When the butter melts, pour a ladleful of batter rotate the pan to spread evenly. Cook till the underside is done. Flip it and cook till the other side is done. Make more pancakes similarly.
  5. Remove the strawberry bowl from refrigerator and mix well.
  6. Place each pancake on a serving dish and serve immediately with the sweetened strawberries.
