Ingredients for Sugarcane Panakam Recipe

  • Sugarcane juice 3 cups

  • Ginger 1/4 inch piece

  • Jaggery (gur) grated 2 teaspoons

  • Green cardamom powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Lemon 1

Method

Step 1

Peel, wash and crush ginger. Add two cups water to sugar cane juice, ginger, jaggery and boil for five minutes.

Step 2

Add cardamom powder, mix well and remove. Strain. Cool and add juice of one lemon. Serve chilled.
