Ingredients list for Sugarcane Panakam
- 3 cups Sugarcane juice
- 1/4 inch piece Ginger
- 2 teaspoons Jaggery (gur) grated
- 1/2 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
- 1 Lemon
Method
- Peel, wash and crush ginger. Add two cups water to sugar cane juice, ginger, jaggery and boil for five minutes.
- Add cardamom powder, mix well and remove. Strain. Cool and add juice of one lemon. Serve chilled.
